Before becoming Tubtao Sleepy Hill, this place was known as "Baan Rai Tub Tao," one of the first well-known homestays in Khao Yai (in the past, accommodation in Khao Yai was not as much as today).

My mother is a Bangkokian who came here as a pioneer over 15 years ago. Most of the visitors who have stayed at Baan Rai Tub Tao return frequently, which causes us to become friends and maintain contact to this day.

The Baan Rai Tub Tao house degraded over the course of several years. I requested that my mother renovate the home. I renovated the house to my liking and adjusted the house to suit the time period, and I changed the name to "Tubtao Sleepy Hill" as well. If anyone is curious as to what Tubtao means, they may ask me. I'll let you know then.

Despite how much the Baan Rai Tub Tao house has changed from the last version, our sociability and concern for others have not diminished. With only 3 rooms and 1 villa, we offer a very quiet and tranquil atmosphere. We offer a setting that is near to nature so that you can hear and feel the breeze and the birds while getting real slumber.

 

Finally, it's important to point you that our mushroom rice soup is just as delicious as it usually is.
